REVIEW: L'Occitane Repairing Mask for Dry and Damaged Hair/Shine Mask

Hair. We all have it to a more or lesser degree. In my case, I got lots. It's long. It's dark, and it's coarse, which means it can dry out pretty quick.
I use the hair mask below approximately once every two weeks to keep my hair looking shoft and healthy. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but I've yet to find a more cost-effective product thati s comparable.
The Claims : Particularly recommended for color and chemically-treated hair, this hair mask nourishes and deeply restores capillary fiber. Repairing, stimulating and regenerating, it protects against the damaging effects of environmental stresses. This rich and silky cream leaves your hair shiny, soft, and smooth.

Instructions: Apply to towel dry hair twice a week for 5-10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly. I wrap it all up in a towel before rinsing. I only wrap it in a towel, because I cannot just sit there for 10 minutes doing nothing. Nope, not happening.

Ingredients:
The first time I used this was in sample form. I was at the L'occitane store picking a present for my mother, and the Sales Associate included this for me to try out. After once use, I noticed a difference right away! My hair was SOOO soft, and it looked SOOO healthy! It left my hair smelling like essential oils too. I, personally, was not bothered by the scent, but I can see someone disliking it (aka my common law partner).

I normally apply this mask after shampooing and conditioner, and I get great results. However, when I use this after shampooing only, the results were EVEN BETTER!!!
My hair was soft, shiny, moisturized and voluminous! SERIOUSLY!! It like a freakin' Herbal Essences commercial!

There's no build up feeling at all. It doesn't lave your hair feeling greasy! Allelujah!! The consistency is very similar to that of a body lotion or moisturizer (a cream).
It is pricy, but I only use about a tablespoon for my hair (which is past-the-boob length), so it'll last forever! I'm still using the same one I bought after trying the sample (since summer 2011).
I love this for intensive moisturizing. I would definitely repurchase! Although, in my personal opinion, I only use this once a fortnight as I believe oversaturating your hair with frequent use will result in decreasing marginal utility, if that makes sense. In simple terms, if you use it too much, you get less satisfaction out it because your hair is use to it. Does anyone else feel this way as well??
