REVIEW: Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution

There has been lots of talk amongst bloggers about this product. The general consensus seems to declare Bioderma's Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution as their "HG" (for those who don't know.. Holy Grail) makeup remover. It all started with famed beauty blogger, Lisa Eldridge, and then the Pixiwoo sisters, Sam and Nic. With such high-profile supporters, I obviously had to try it!

I purchased this product at
Shopper's Drug Mart in Canada. I've also seen this in Hong Kong at the beauty/cosmetic store, Colormix.

Before I delve into the nitty gritty. The product pictured above shows the same product but with different names. Crealine was the name previous before the company decided to change it to Sensibio. I've used both, and I can detect no discernable difference.

Moving On...
I've been using this product since May of 2011. After using the micelle solution for over 6 months, I can honestly, whole-heartedly say that it does not live up to the hype. I just found it average.

Many people say that this product takes ALL their makeup off effortlessly without having to rub your face. I don't find that it does. I have used a new cotton pad to test this theory, and there is still makeup the comes off the second time. For what it is, it doesn't need to be this expensive. I would rather purchase the Almay Oil-Free Makeup Remover. It performs just as well (for those iwth normal and sensitive skin) and for a fraction of the cost.

Some have also reported, breakouts as a result of using this product. I have not.
It has also been reported that the solution will sting if you get it in your eye. This has happened to me before, and my eyes were fine.
With any product, there is always a chance of allergic reaction of some sort. Use to your own discretion.
